Research and evolution of foreign submarine closed-cycle diesel engine (CCDE) plant is introduced. Technical characteristics and application status of CCDE plant of Germany, Russian(CCCP), Italian, Britain and other countruies are given. Critical techniques of CCDE, such as preparation of artifical air and oxygen, oxygen storge, carbon dioxide cryogenic storge, exhausted gas process and disposal etc. are analyzed and stated in detail.
